Visual integrity during booting

When you start a product with a screen it looks off if there is low level texts being shown to the user. For example if you start and iPhone or a Mercedes car any screen will show a nice animation or logo and not the boot log.

Balena OS supports setting a splash screen but unfortunately the x86 version shows a booting ‘boot’ text which breaks the visual integrity of the boot process.

Since you already support setting an OS startup splash screen the best option for the boot to be silent black screen. A black screen does not break the visual integrity if it is only for a short time before the splash screen appears.
