I’ve been trying for hours to flash Armada OS to a brand new microSD card and every single time it flashes completely, then goes up to 99% validation then gives me an error message: “Something went wrong. If it is a compressed image, please check that the archive is not corrupted. The writer process ended unexpectedly.”
I first used the latest Armada OS image file which was dated 17 Aug but when I used it on my Odin3 it was stuck on a “Preparing Armada” screen so I tried flashing an older version instead. Etcher just kept giving me the same above error every time after reaching 99% validation. I’ve already tried running Etcher as administrator, I’ve made sure Windows Defender isn’t interfering, and I still don’t know what’s wrong. When I tried flashing the latest Armada image the first time, I still got the same error message, but I could also see that the drive was renamed “Armada” and I could see the files written inside. Now after attempting to flash the older Armada image, Windows just says the drive is not accessible, “The volume does not contain a recognized file system”. What am I doing wrong?
