Hi all,
I am installing Balena on a Revolution Pi 4 Connect. I chose the correct device type when I created the device image, but when I boot the device, the Revolution Pi device drivers are not running. When I add “revpi-connect4” to the RESIN_HOST_CONFIG_dtoverlay device configuration, the device drivers work.
Is it a balena bug that the overlay is not added to revpi4 devices by default?
I did not see that step mentioned in any documentation, so I assume that this worked at some point.

Hello @martinscheffler
could you please confirm that the device is working properly? could you please share more details of the logs or the drivers that you don’t see running?
Thanks!

@mpous Here is the relevant message on revpi forum:
This mainly affects access to the DIO input-output module that can be connected to the revolution pi. I guess other modules from the revpi ecosystem will also be affected.
