Create a responsively designed balenaCloud dashboard that will automatically adjust to suit different screen sizes.
We’ve started working on improving the mobile UX. It’s a small start but as of dashboard version 16.7.1, the hamburger icon that is seen on mobile no longer replicates the behavior of the dropdown menu you see at the upper-right-hand corner of the screen. Furthermore, the sidebar should automatically collapse/expand when the screen size changes from desktop->mobile/mobile->desktop (respectively). This an intermediate step, as the current plan is to hide the sidebar initially in mobile to conserve screen space and allow users to toggle it open and closed via the hamburger icon.
I’ve noticed that the device logs aren’t working all too well on mobile. Scrolling is jittery. Additionally, the app name takes up a lot of space. Maybe replace that with numbers and add a legenda to the logs to make more room to read the actual logs.
While we haven’t set our focus on this yet we have been slowly improving bits and pieces, notably the sidebar navigation. Please let us know here of issues you might have when navigating the app on mobile, and we’ll try to tackle them as they come.
