problem with airplay

Hello
i have a problem with balena sound.

I followed the guide and installed balena sound on the raspberry pi 3b + but when I turn on the device, while the bluetooth activates correctly, the airplay plugin does not. Here is the following log:
airplay Starting AirPlay plugin …
airplay Device name: balenaSound AirPlay 0f95
airplay Shairport-sync started. Device is discoverable as balenaSound AirPlay 0f95
airplay fatal error: pa context is not good - the error message “Connection terminated”.

Consequently I have to restart the service and this is how it works, with this log:
Starting AirPlay plugin …
airplay Device name: balenaSound AirPlay 0f95
airplay Shairport-sync started. Device is discoverable as balenaSound AirPlay 0f95

This situation always arises when I turn the device off and on again, is there anything I can do?

I also have the same issue on Raspberry Pi 3. Always have to restart the aIrplay service before it will work

Could you please provide a bit more details?

  • Which balena OS version are you running?
  • Which guide did you follow to install balena sound?
  • Does the plugin crash at any point if you leave the device on?
