Opening camera on 64 bit OS

I’m trying to open the camera on 64 bit OS, but not succeeding.
I am aware that the MMAL drivers are not available in 64 bit OS, but still not having any progress with v4l2 either.

I am specifically attempting this on the CM4, but the results are the same on the Pi4.

Very little information on the forums regarding this, has anyone had any success?

What project are you trying to run on the CM4? is it balenaCam? What carrier board are you using? I would like to reproduce myself!
