MACOS 15.0.1, Balena Doesn't Work

Running MacOS 15.0.1. Downloaded and installed the latest BalenaEtcher, 1.19.25. Trying to make a bootable Linux USB drive. 2 problems;

  1. When choosing the directory containing the Linux distribution, the ISO doesn’t show up. I have to search for it, even though it’s the newest item in the directory.
  2. When choosing “Select Target” the USB drive is greyed out and it says “Source drive”. I have tried 3 different USB drives and even erased and formatted them as MS DOS (fat) using the built in Disk Utility.
    Is there a bug in the latest version or maybe it doesn’t work with MacOS 15?? Or something else?
