Intel Generic x86_64 on Dell 7220 PC

Thanks, I’ll forward this to our devices team and we’ll get back to you.

Hi, can I ask you to try to disable Modern Standby? Just enter BIOS and set sleep type to Legacy S3 standby. For some other hw It is available under “POWER -> Secondary Power Settings -> Sleep Type support” so can you check if on your side it is available there too? Or maybe Modern Standby is available in some other place in your BIOS?

Thanks, I have already surveyed the bios looking for S3 and or other sleep states. You’ll see that mentioned earlier in the thread. There does not seem to be any relevant entries.

Hey guys

We have exactly the same issue on the same tablet/bios version.

We’re using refind and our boot usb works fine on the 7212.

We get Precisely the same symptoms and have run all the same tests from the OP

Did you ever get a resolution?

Thanks in advance
ANdy

Later versions of BalenaOS resolved the boot issue. I have not installed a device lately though so it may be a regression. Good luck.
