Go to the official Etcher website and scroll down to the download section. Look for the file named something like balena-etcher-electron-x.x.x-linux-x64.deb — this is the one you need. Download that .deb file directly. Once downloaded, just double-click it and it will open in the Software Manager where you can click “Install.” If it doesn’t open that way, right-click the file and choose to open it with GDebi Package Installer or run sudo dpkg -i filename.deb in the terminal, replacing “filename.deb” with the actual file name.
That’s it, Etcher will be installed.
