Force device to reregister after failed register attempt

Hi,

I ran into a problem recently, where when the device has not been preregistered and you unplug the device by accident during the registration process it gets stuck in limbo.
It shows up on my device list, but keeps being offline.

Is there any way to force a reregister from the supervisor without reflashing the device with a provisioned firmware?

Hi,

If you delete the device via the CLI, and then run balena join {IP address of device} then, assuming it’s a development device, it will SSH in and re-register the device to the openBalena instance.
