As per that discussion we implemented a lockfile.
Now we would like to enable persistent-logging for our fleet. However this triggers also a fleet-wide reboot despite the lockfile.
Hi, thanks for reaching out. It is my understanding that update locks should also prevent configuration variable updates. What version of balenaOS and supervisor are you using?
Hi, up to date balenaOS versions and supervisors will apply the configurations but will not trigger a reboot while the lock is held.
Could you please try with the most recent balenaOS and supervisor versions available for your device type?
