Can I use a Mac/Catalina/10.15.7 to download Etcher to get Linux Mint for my Mele 4C

New to this concept. Can I download Etcher on mac OS 10.15.7 and use in Mele 4c loaded with WIN PRO 11? Plan is to just have Linux Mint on Mele as OS. Don’t like WINDOZ !
