Balena OS download not working (Solved)

Hi, i just created a fleet on balenacloud to start a balena-sound project , but when i add a device / download BalenaOS, the download speed isn’t stable, continually decreases until creating a download failure caused by “Unknown server error”. I tried different versions of balenaOS and still got the same result. I know it’s not a problem with my internet connection because i normally have ~50MB/s download speed with optical fiber.
Can someone please help me or send me a balenaOS img for rpi3 ?

I’m using Google Chrome but i just tried microsoft edge and i got the same error

Can you say more about your workflow and device? Did you push to your fleet from your local machine or are you deploying a fleet from here: Balena Labs Projects · GitHub? or here balenaHub: an easier way to find and publish fleets, apps, and blocks for edge devices? Is it just balena-sound or do you have issues downloading on other fleets as well?

Sorry if i’m not very precise, I’m new to balena.
I downloaded BalenaOS from BalenaCloud dashboard
page after creating a new one click fleet from the getting started guide ( Getting started - Home ) and adding a device .

It’s not just balena-sound, if i create other fleets, it fails to download balenaOS as well. (even via etcher flashing)

edit : i forgot to toggle developement in the screenshot but i normally do it

Can you show the error?
This sounds like your antivirus software is blocking downloads as the balena download is a zip…

Can you check your antivirus settings?

I have disabled windows defender and i have no other antivirus.
I tried to download with my phone but i get the same error. even using 4g / LTE instead of my home wi-fi , and it doesn’t work.

I even tried to download with a vpn to see if it was an ip related problem, but it still fails to download.
Is there any other way to download BalenaOS .img ?

If you create a new fleet, does it download?

I was able to download balena-sound from a fleet I just created on balena-cloud to my home network.

Where are you located?

I’m in France, I just tried the first link 10 mins ago and it was not working but I will retry, I hope it will work.

Thanks, it worked only one time via balenahub. But there’s a thing I don’t understand: how can my dashboard detect my RPI if balenahub doesn’t need any balena log in to download the .img, do I need to configure it for it to appear in my fleet ?

Hello, if you use the first link (balenaHub: an easier way to find and publish fleets, apps, and blocks for edge devices) balenaSound will not be deployed into your own fleet, it will be an open fleet. (See Introducing Open Fleets and self-submitted apps and blocks on balenaHub for a description of open fleets) If you use the other GitHub link, you can use the “Deploy with Balena” button on the balenaSound repo so it will ask you to log into balenaCloud and deploy to your fleet - either a new or existing fleet.
