Adding an application environment variable throws "Database error"

Hi,

When I try to set an application specific environment variable I get a BalenaRequestError: Request error: Database error.

As an example I’ve been using the balena-wpe project and when I send this command:

balena env add WPE_BCMRPI_CURSOR 1 --application <myAppName>

I get the database error above. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

Setup details:
Server OS: Ubuntu 18.04 (AWS base AMI)
openBalena Server: 0.1.4
Balena CLI: 9.12.0
