Dear Balena Support
Your product is quite great, congrats
Yet we are facing some major limitations, regarding state of the art Bluetooth adapters.
It would be great, if you could please patch/update Balena OS for Raspberry Pi 5 to support the Bluetooth Low Energy 5 adapter dongle TP-Link UB500.
The dongle seems to be supported for a year now in major Linux distros out-of-the-box (such as Xubuntu), and features higher throughput than BLE 4 adapters like TP-LINK UB400 (which is crucial to our project). There is some forum posts, where support has been added before by building the latest bluetooth driver version (see [Solved] TP Link UB500 Bluetooth not working - Linux Mint Forums)
As an alternative, we could also patch the kernel drivers ourselves, if you have any suggestions or instructions to do so.
Best regards
Markus
