First of all, we are incredibly lucky to have you all as part of our community. We are thrilled you are here to learn, share and help others build amazing things with edge devices, IoT and balena.
To keep this a productive and respectful space for everyone, please follow these guidelines when participating:
- Help others: If you can share experiences or answer questions, go for it! We value helpful, constructive replies.
- Share what you’ve learned: Real-world experiences (even failures) or tips to help the community.
- Ask clear questions: Include enough detail so others can help.
- Be kind and inclusive: We welcome members of all skill levels, backgrounds and experiences. Treat others with respect.
To keep the community focused and valuable for all members, please avoid the following:
- Promoting third-party products or services: This is not a space for marketing or selling. Posts promoting unrelated or commercial tools, platforms, or products—even if well-intentioned—will be removed. You are welcome to mention tools you’ve used but self-promotion or affiliate links are not allowed.
- Posting irrelevant or off-topic content: Stick to topics related to the CRA, regulations, balena, IoT, device management and edge computing.
- Spamming or excessive linking: Avoid flooding the forums with links or repetitive messages.
- Disrespectful or discriminatory behavior: We do not tolerate harassment, hate speech or disrespectful conduct.
Please share everything here in the spirit of open knowledge, with clear build steps, links to code and no commercial intent.
We want this to be a space where contributors are recognized for knowledge—not marketing and with the clear goal of helping all the community with the challenge of the CRA.
Forum moderators reserve the right to remove or edit content that violates these guidelines. Repeated violations may lead to account restrictions or bans. If you see a post that goes against these rules, use the flag button
