Downloading the right version of BalenaEtcher on Macbook M2 to create a flash drive and install it on Macbook i7 Intel. Is it ETCHER ARM64 or Etcher MAC OS X64?

A Macbook with Apple Silicon (M2 Processor) is ARM64 architecture.

So you’ll need to download the ARM64 version of BalenaEtcher, but flash an x86-64 .img to your removable media.
