i am trying to install balena etcher

1st i went here How to Install Etcher on Ubuntu {via GUI or Terminal} | phoenixNAP KB

was going to copy and paste the command terminal readouts, but evidently as a noob i can only post 5 addies. curl and the debian repositories list lots of urls they contact for install, so i can’t show you what the readouts actually say, which is a pain.

interesting, you linked the site i listed as one i tried to use already. if i would have been able to post my command terminal scripts, you would have seen that the webste you linked was one of the ones that doesn’t work, and i copied and pasted everything in order. to bad that i am in noob status and it only allows me to post a limited number of url’s. otherwise you’d have been able to see that something was wrong with those directions.
