Hello - I am now experiencing this for the first time. I have been using Balena for a while with no issues, and without changing anything significant in my project it is now failing to build & deploy.
As someone observed above - this smells like a problem in the infrastructure, not in any specific project.
I had this issue as well today and only seemed to occur if delta updates were enabled.
Disabling delta updates solved the (HTTP code 404) no such image issue.
However its not a optimal solution to have delta updates disabled due to increased traffic load over mobile connection and on device storage.
Hi, we pushed a fix to mitigate the 404 error 3-4 hours ago. How long ago did you get this problem? If it was more than 4 hours ago, can you enable deltas and try again please?

Could you please let me know if you managed to build your image. Did you try to build an image today? We’ve noticed that the builder failures have been dramatically decreased, but please let me know how it works on your end.

No, I still get the Failed to download image due to (HTTP code 404) no such image - no such image message when delta updates are enabled.
Hi @meldro, could you share the application ID that you experience the issue with? If I may ask, how many devices are running in the application? In case you have more than 1 device, do all the devices experience this error?
We could check the logs on our end if you could pass the application ID and device UUID (if these are sensitive information, in case you use public URL feature, please pass them us via private message).
Additionally, it’d be good to know if these devices are running fine otherwise. Do you experience other kind of problems?

Btw, we just realized that you are actually talking about a different problem than what’s discussed originally in this thread. Please let us know if you experience an error when you make a new release via balena push or git push.
Seems like your device fails to download the delta image for some reason. We appreciate if you open a new forum thread to discuss new topics in the future.
