It is a Pi Zero W.
Ideally I would like to be able to play music directly to the Zero W, so that it doesn’t play in multiple rooms, and sometimes play to the Pi 3 so that it does play in multiple rooms.
However, I tried disabling multi room on the Zero W as a test and I still can’t connect to the device using Spotify Connect. The Spotify service does not run and when I try to start it manually via balena cloud it instantly kills the process.
Any ideas?
Can you play music on the pi zero W setup at all (with multi room disabled)? Also, you could send us the supervisor logs which may give information on why the spotify service isn’t running - on the dashboard you can ssh into the Pi zero host OS and use the command journalctl -fn 1000 -u resin-supervisor and post them here. You could also run a device health using the diagnostics tab on the dashboard.
Have you also tried power cycling the device? Also what SD card are you using (size, speed, make)? If services aren’t starting, give it some time after restarting them as things might be slow on the pi zero. Thanks
