@pdcastro Booted with vanilla balena-dashboards on a new application and the touch screen was not responsive. Booted with raspbian and the touch screen is functioning just fine.

I also tried running balena-dashboards on the 64-bit OS because I wanted to eliminate that as a variable and it doesn’t seem to work. While going crazy I ran across this post and corresponding repository. This certainly seems related so I think I’m going to try and integrate portions of this repo to see what sticks. Until then I welcome any and all knights in shining armor.
