Hi all, I was wondering if there is any way to reset network settings with physical access to the device? The nightmare scenario for me is someone making a mistake while setting a static IP and a device becoming unrecoverable. Right now the only thing I can think to do is reflash it completely.
Hello, if the ip is set via Networking on balenaOS | balena docs, then mounting the config partition (FAT) and removing the entry should do the job.
If the IP was set by (re)mounting the root FS read/write and setting it manually in a persistent way that survives a reboot, a re-flash is likely the only way to restore connectivity.
