# Provide custom hostnames per tenant in balenaCloud

Some enterprise MITM proxies perform very tight filtering on destination hostnames and will not allow outbound traffic to AWS backed servers, like balenaCloud’s API and registry.

Providing custom hostnames per tenant would allow to front this domains in for example Cloudfare.
