Hello is it normal operation for Balena Etcher to open and listen on ports 3434 and 3435 when making a bootable usb drive? Just curious why this happens. I am running Balena Etcher 1.19.25 for Mac OS.

Yes, it’s normal. Balena Etcher uses po[r](https://thespotifypremium.net/en/spotify-premium-apk-download/)ts 3434 and 3435 for its IPC (Inter-Process Communication) to manage the flashing process. It’s local-only and not an external network connection. Nothing to worry about.
