Install linux headers for kernel module development

Depends how long that is. If it is this week, yes.

Hi Jason,

Can’t promise a timeframe but as I said the plan is to run the tests as soon as the board arrives. Meanwhile you can flash the device with the image that is available in staging.

Please note that as I mentioned in the the Beaglebone Gateway ticket, staging images are available only for testing purposes in the staging environment, and should not be used in production.

Hi @jkridner, board arrived today and I see Bluetooth isn’t working on the staging image:

root@localhost:~# hciconfig
hci0: Type: Primary Bus: UART
BD Address: 00:00:00:00:00:00 ACL MTU: 0:0 SCO MTU: 0:0
DOWN
RX bytes:0 acl:0 sco:0 events:0 errors:0
TX bytes:32 acl:0 sco:0 commands:8 errors:0

Do you have a link to an already built SD-CARD of some distribution with kernel 5.4.70, that also has BT working? We’ll need one as an example.

The latest Debian 10.3 from Latest Software Images - BeagleBoard is still on kernel 4.X.

Thanks

Confirmed the issue is there on the stock 5.4 kernel images. Still searching for the regression.

Hi @jkridner,

The Beaglebone Green Gateway image is now available in production too, at v2.67.3+rev1.
