Hi,

We want to create a script to help us quickly flash devices with BalenaOS. Typically in the past we’ve done this manually by using the balena dashboard “Add device” to fleet function with balena etcher.

Is there a single image that we can use to flash our devices in a repeatable way via script? I’m not sure if the “Add device” function embeds anything specific into the image. I feel like it does because the device knows which fleet to boot into, but maybe that’s passed in config.

Thanks,
Brian

Hey @bp1313 this should be possible with the balena CLI using the combo of [`balena os download`](https://docs.balena.io/reference/balena-cli/latest#os-download) and [`balena os configure`](https://docs.balena.io/reference/balena-cli/latest#os-configure)
