You are correct, as I have simultaneously been playing around with udev rules (https://forums.balena.io/t/custom-udev-rules/2415).
I am quite new to resin and not fully aware of the differences between the official resin images and e.g arm32v7/debian:jessie. What will the consequences in regards to limited functionality in resin or the like be, if I chose to go with a non-offical resin image?
