For some reason, we have had significant trouble installing balenaOS onto the Cincoze DX-1100

  • Start with the AC turned off and the laptop connected to the internet via Ethernet
  • Plug the USB into the AC
  • Connect AC to Merrimac laptop via Ethernet
  • On the Merrimac laptop, on the network connections settings page, enable sharing from Ethernet 4 (internet connection) to Ethernet (AC)
  • Turn on the AC and navigate to BIOS
  • Set Boot Option #1 to UEFI and Boot Option #2 to P3
  • Press F10 to save and exit
  • AC showed “booting flash”, then a blank screen but did not turn itself off
  • Waited ~5 minutes
  • Unplug USB
  • Reboot AC
  • AC showed the following screen:

We have deployment tomorrow at 11 am EST . And want production support on phone to help!

Hello @vmedab i understand that you are deploying balena on an X86 device, right?

After flashing and unplugging USB, did you go to the bios to check again the boot option? Could you please confirm which boot option is selected?

Let’s see if we can fix this!!

Thank you Marc! I will be in the customers shop again at 1130 EST. Can I get support then ?

Could you please share the latest update of the situation of the device @vmedab ?

What device are you using? what device type are you trying?

Thanks
