# Etcher not launching fully Windows 10

I just downloaded and installed BalenaEtcher on a fresh Windows 10 Pro x64 installation. It does not load fully and if I try to flash anything, it fails.

BalenaEtcher v1.5.42  
Windows 10 Pro x64

I did install it with admin privileges and also tried running it with admin privileges.

Thanks for reporting. We found an issue with the packaging and we will be fixing it ASAP. In the meantime, you can rollback to an older version until we get this fixed so you are not blocked. Let us know if we can be of any help in the meantime.

There is a new release 1.5.43 available on the website that should solve the problem.
