# cannot run etcher in ubuntu

whenever i try to open balenaetcher in ubuntu, it comes up with a screen saying “no apps installed that can open balenaetcher-1.13.1-64.AppImage. you can find more applications in Software”, i dont know what to do

Making the file executavle shuld solve your problem or adding some appimage integration to your system.
