Dear Balena Support
Your product is quite great, congrats 😄

Yet we are facing some major limitations, regarding state of the art Bluetooth adapters.

It would be great, if you could please patch/update Balena OS for Raspberry Pi 5 to support the Bluetooth Low Energy 5 adapter dongle **TP-Link UB500**.

The dongle seems to be supported for a year now in major Linux distros out-of-the-box (such as Xubuntu), and features higher throughput than BLE 4 adapters like TP-LINK UB400 (which is crucial to our project). There is some forum posts, where support has been added before by building the latest bluetooth driver version (see [[Solved] TP Link UB500 Bluetooth not working - Linux Mint Forums](https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=368114))

As an alternative, we could also patch the kernel drivers ourselves, if you have any suggestions or instructions to do so.

Best regards
Markus
